Imagine your first day at sunrise…
For most people, morning means alarm clocks and haste but not at Nunyara. Here, the morning starts once the scent of freshly baked bread finds its way to you in the soft expanse of your Queen size bed. Sometime later, the bright Queensland sunlight entices you out onto the large deck where you can enjoy your second cuppa (or even third!), discovering just how different the views look in the morning light, compared with the sunset views you enjoyed last night. Even in winter, the daytime temperature is in the low 20's Celcius (70F) so the warmth of the day is a nice contrast to the evenings when you can feel the crisp clean air on your face, whilst listening to the sounds of the night on your candle lit veranda. Being on a hillside, the breezes help moderate the temperatures and make it far more comfortable than in the cities or by the coast.

With plenty of seating for the whole family, the media room is able to play Satellite TV (Austar) through a 7 channel Surround Sound Amplification system, Bluray and HD DVD's, iPods, Wii and even act as an extra bedroom if need be! We have a library of over 500 DVD's and these can be borrowed on request.
The lounge area is a large open space with ample room for relaxation and dining.
It is approx 12m x 5m and includes a triple leather suite and dining table and internet connected pc for your use. There is a collection of books and games for those nights in.
The deck has astounding views into the bush and beyond towards Mount Tamborine and The Lamington National Park. We have floodlights to illuminate the bush at night and a BBQ to enjoy relaxing evenings listening to the sounds of the bush or just admiring the beauty of the Southern night sky.
We have two double bedrooms both furnished to a high specification. Bedtoom 1 has a Queen double bed and a pine wardrobe. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans should you get to experience one of those balmy Queensland nights!
Bedroom 2 has room for an additional single bed or cot. Similarly, the media room has space to accomodate temporary bedding for additional guests if necessary.
A single shower, toilet and wash basin. Fully stocked with those nice little beauty products that you expect to find (and stock up on) from posh hotels!
The apartment has its own kitchenette with microwave and cooking facilities to allow you to create your own meals. A fridge is stocked daily with breakfast items for you to get the day off to a good start. The platter includes Bacon, Eggs, Fruit, Juices, Cereals and many other things to get the day off to a good and healthy start. The cupboards contain condiments and utensils that you might need, including, most importantly, a bottle opener! We have a small stock of local wines and beers available at cost too.
Nunyara has a private owners garden but the rest of the 10 acres is your own to explore and enjoy. There are several trails with numerous benches placed around the property for you to enjoy the peace and tranquility. We also have a small grassed paddock should you want to play something more energetic such as touch rugby, badmington or frisbee. Dogs are welcome but due to the wildlife, we ask that they are restrained on a leash.
